Noorderlicht
A photography festival that changes theme, city and curator every edition, and needed an identity that survives all three. We designed a system, not a look: a grid, a type family and a rulebook that each edition breaks in its own way.
The system
The festival site rebuilds itself each edition from the same components: programme, venues, artists. Editors fill it; the system does the layout. Three editions in, no redesign needed.
